All Saints Vigil, October 31

Held on All Hallows Eve, the Vigil this year will have as its theme “Cries from the Depths: Saints Who Suffered for the Church”. The Vigil will start at 7:30 PM. It will consist of readings from the saints, the Office of Compline (sung Night Prayer), a procession to the house reliquary, and a chanted Litany of the Saints. Confessions will be available throughout the evening, and a reception will follow the Vigil. Due to the popularity of this event, guests should plan to arrive early if they desire a seat. There is metro service at CUA/Brookland station on the Red Line, where there is also a Capital Bikeshare rack. There are racks available for personal bikes at DHS. The priory is also served by WMATA buses 80 and H2-H6. Parking will be available in the USCCB parking lot on 4th St. after 5:30pm.
