Rescue me, God! * Yahweh, hurry to help me!
Let those who seek my life * be shamed and disgraced.
Let those who desire my ruin * retreat embarrassed.
May they retreat for their shameful slander, * those who say to me, Aha, Aha!
May all who seek you * rejoice and be glad in you.
May they who love your salvation * ever repeat: * God is great!
But I am afflicted and poor; * God, hurry to me!
You are my helper, my deliverer; * Yahweh, do not delay.
