Schedule for CUA Aquinas Mass, January 27

On Thursday, January 27th, the Catholic University of America will observe its patronal feast with a Solemn Mass in honor of St. Thomas Aquinas. Beginning at 12:10 PM, the Mass will take place in the great Upper Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The House of Studies’ own Fr. Dominic Legge, O.P., will be the principal celebrant and homilist.

Due to the community’s participation in this Mass, the priory will observe the following special schedule on Thursday.

7:00 AM         Office of Readings & Lauds
12:10 PM        Mass at the National Shrine
5:20                 Rosary, followed by Vespers
9:00                 Compline

The priory’s celebration of the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas will occur on Friday, January 28th. All liturgies that day will be celebrated in his honor.
