Announcing the Vigil of All Saints, October 31

Join us at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, for our annual Vigil of All Saints. This year’s theme, “A Beautiful Death,” will help us consider what it means to die well. As in the past, the Vigil will consist of readings from the saints, the Office of Compline (sung Night Prayer), a candlelight procession to the house reliquary, a chanted Litany of the Saints, and the veneration of relics, including a first class relic of Bl. Carlo Acutis recently given to the priory. Confessions will be available before and after the event, and a light reception will follow (outdoors, if the weather permits).

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Due to the number of expected attendees, guests should plan to arrive early if they desire a seat. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate seat reservations or to permit the saving of multiple seats for those on the way.

There is metro service at CUA/Brookland station on the Red Line, where there is also a Capital Bikeshare rack. The priory is served by WMATA buses 80 and H2-H6. Overflow parking will also be available in the USCCB parking lot on 4th St. after 6:30 p.m. if the priory lots fill up.
